NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY – 2022
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”.
National Education Day, observed on 11th November, was held on 15th of November 2022. The programme was hosted by class XI.
The day started spiritually with Gayathri Mantra. The audience was given a warm welcome along with a brief elucidation on the topic of the day that set the expectations high.
The welcome address was followed by the first event of the day - Vedhadhvani. It depicts Prabodh Mahajanji’s teacher’s day message to all the students from Krishna Yajur Veda about emerging citizenship and the value of education. It was a source of further deciphered meaning of Vedas.
“You have to dream before your dreams can come true”. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was the first Education Minister of Independent India. Vedhadhvani was followed by the attempt made by the students of class VIII to share more points and facts about the Great Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. It was very informative.
“Change is the only Constant”. Education methods are an open testimony to this. A beautiful poem, metaphorizing education with the ever-expanding water bodies was recited in an attempt to showcase the changing course of education. The students enjoyed this beautiful channeling of thoughts.
The poem was followed by a dramatic expression of the positive changes brought about in our society due to education. The skit was in the form of a narrative mime that consisted of three main incidents venturing into Women's Empowerment, Equality, and Advancement in Technology. The skit was a great and amusing way for students to throw light on even the little things that Education does.
We had the students of class IX enriching the audiences about the importance and significance of education through interactions and placards laying the basis of their program on the Education goals through National Education Day 2020.
“Dance is the hidden Language of the Soul ''. The importance of multiple intelligences in the lives of students was gracefully portrayed by the students through their dance performance that concluded with a motivating quote. The stunning performance was applauded energetically.
The programme concluded with words of gratitude followed by Shanti Paat.
