ACHIEVEMENT OF OUR STUDENTS IN THE FIELD OF SPORTS

R P Hasini, Std. VIII E, had participated in the TN State Triathlon Event – Youth Category – Super Sprint (Swim, Cycle and Run) on 29.08.2021 and won “2^nd Position – Silver Medal”.

Nehanraj Ramesh, Std. IV , has been Ranked No. 4 out of 542 participants from different States of India in the All India Chess Federation (AICF) Online National School Under 09 Chess Championship 2021 and has been titled as “Arena FIDE Master” from FIDE (Federation International Des Echecs) – World Chess Federation.

Nehanraj Ramesh also participated in the Chess Competition conducted by National Chess Federation, Philippines in 2021.

Shraddha Children's Academy, Padur conducted Shraddha Virtual Khel during 2021-22. The following students participated and won prizes under various categories.

Pragnya HG, Std. VIII B, won 2^nd Place in U13 Chennai District Girls Chess Championship and Team Gold and Individual Bronze in the Western Asia U-14 Girls Online Chess Championship. She came 9^th in the National School Championship in the U13 Girls Category and received a Cash Award of Rs.2,000/-

She has also now become an author with Scholastic Quill Club Writers, and authored an e-book ‘Happy Tree- Where Stories Come to Roost’.

Harish B, Std. IX D got Best Batsman Award in the Young Talent Tournament organized by ASAN Memorial College. He had won MBCA Tournament as Captain conducted in Chennai and also won the Vellore Cricket Tournament in Under 16 Category as Wicketkeeper-Batsman.

Keertana Kumaravel, Std. IX B won 1st Place in Under-17 and also 1st Place in Under-15 Badminton conducted by Leap Sports Academy – 2021.  She also won 2nd Place in Under-15 Badminton conducted by Vth Sports (Stop and Play).
		Riya Menon, Std. XI C won 3rd Place at the district level in Basket Ball conducted by Tamil Nadu  Basket Ball Association as a Team.
Heshanth Tarun S, Std. VIII G has been selected to play Cricket for Chengalpat District Cricket  Association.
		Shrijith V, Std. X E has been selected to  play Cricket for TNCA League Team (5th Division) for Chennai District Cricket Association.
Kapilesh N, Std. XI has been selected to play Cricket for TNCA League Team (5th Division) for Chengalpattu District Cricket Association.
