OBSERVANCE OF STATE GIRL CHILD PROTECTION DAY
“State Girl Child Protection Day” was declared by the State Government of Tamil Nadu on 24th Feb 2020 in view of the birthday of the former Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr.J. Jayalalitha.
This day was observed throughout the State in all State Government Schools, Government Aided Schools, Corporation Schools and also CBSE Schools by taking an Oath and insisting on the Rights and Eradication of Child Labour, Child Violence and Child Marriage.
The Oath was taken by Students of Std. VIII, teaching and non-teaching Staff. Nearly 250 students and 60 teachers participated in this programme to sensitize and create awareness on the importance of Safety of Girls.
