'ANNUAL  FUN  FAIR'  OF  SPECIALLY  ABLED  ORGANISED  BY  SHAKTI  FOUNDATION

55 Students of Std. VIII participated in the 'Annual Fun Fair' conducted by  Shakti Foundation at Music Academy on 24.08.19. The Chief Guest of the programme was  Mr.Sanjeev Subramanian, Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Planning VST Group.

The gala event commenced with a red carpet welcome for all the 'Divyang', differently abled children.  Colourful flags and banners beckoned the participants amidst whole-hearted greetings and cheering by the D.A.Vites.

Our students took part in the March Past to welcome the Chief Guest. The lighting of lamp followed by a prayer marked the inauguration of the programme.

Mrs. Raghuvir, Chairman of Shakti Foundation felicitated all the Volunteers and Life time Members of the Foundation.

The thought provoking Skit performed by the Gifted Children created awareness on banning plastic for a green environment. Students from the School for Blind and Special Home for Deaf left the audience awestruck with their outstanding and engaging performance which showcased their singing, acting and dancing skills.

The Fun Filled Fair brought smiles and joy to all the participants.
