FIRE SAFETY PROGRAMME
Our School was invited by the Fire Service Station ,Velachery to attend the Fire Safety Programme at the Teynampet Fire Station on 17th July 2019. The P.E.T, Mr.Babu Prasad, two Student Council Members, Naveen Shankar Choudhury and Shaaran.S of Std XI attended the Programme. They were escorted by Mr.Praveen Kumar, Fire Service Officer from the School to Teynampet Fire Station.
At the Teynampet Fire Station, the District Fire Officer welcomed all the participants. The Fire Safety officers, Mr. Kumaravel and Mr. Murugan, demonstrated “Quick Reaction” in Fire Emergency. They also trained the team to operate Fire Extinguishers and gave live examples.
They also instructed the participants about different classes of fire (A,B,C and E) and wanted the team to spread awareness among as many students as possible. The 2 hour programme was greatly useful to tackle Fire Emergency Situations in Schools , at home and also in Public places and render help in the instance of Fire Accidents.
