EYE SCREENING CAMP 2024 - 25

INTRODUCTION:

An Eye Screening Camp was organised at D.A.V. Public School for four days (06.01.2025 to 09.01.2025) by Jarma Wellness in collaboration with Lawrence and Mayo.

PARTICIPANTS:

A Total of 2569 Students of Nursery to Std. IX & XI participated in the camp by qualified optometrists from “Vasan Eye Care” performed detailed eye examination.

SERVICE PROVIDED:

Comprehensive eye check-ups were conducted.
Individuals with vision issues were identified and advised accordingly.
Guidance for further medical consultation was notified to those in need.

PAMPHLET DISTRIBUTION:

Information pamphlets on Myopia, its symptoms, Preventive Measures and Management Strategies were distributed to all students to raise awareness about the condition.

CONCLUSION:

The eye screening camp conducted by D.A.V. Public School was a successful initiative aimed at promoting Eye Health Awareness among students. The camp identified vision problems, ensuring timely intervention through expert recommendation. The distribution of Educational Pamphlets further enhanced awareness about Eye care. The event was well-organised. A detailed report of individual student will be given by the organisers in a week.
