CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024 -25 

 D. A. V. Public School, Velachery celebrated Christmas on 24 December 2024. The celebration was hosted by the students of Class VI with a vibrant variety of programmes.

The celebration began with a heartfelt welcome address by Harshith M, who set the tone for the day by emphasizing the spirit of Christmas and the joy of togetherness.

‘Quaint Christmas Tradition' was a programme presented by the students of grade VIII that took the audience on a journey through the diverse Christmas traditions celebrated across the globe.

The youngest members of the school, the KG students, entertained everyone with their sweet rendition of a ‘Christmas song’. Their innocence and enthusiasm stole the show.

‘Snow Flake Swag', a lively and colourful dance, performed by the students of class V brought cheer to the audience. Their energy and synchronization were truly commendable.

‘Yuletide Tale' was a skit performed by the students of Classes VI and VII to convey the message of love and kindness, embodying the true essence of Christmas.

The senior students of Classes XI and XII enchanted the audience with their melodious ‘Carol Singing’. Their performance created a magical atmosphere.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks followed by Shanthi Paat.

The celebration was a momentous event that left a lasting impression on all the attendees. The diverse performances, coupled with the enthusiasm and teamwork of the participants, created a joyous and memorable experience for everyone.
