VIGILANCE AWARENESS DAY - 2024  

THEME: CULTURE OF INTEGRITY FOR NATION'S PROSPERITY

D.A.V. Public School observed Vigilance Awareness Day 2024-25 on 6^th November 2024, with a solemn and enlightening programme. The event aimed to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability among students, teachers and staff.

The Vigilance Awareness Day program was anchored by Nishita S of X D and Sadhana M of X E.

The programme commenced with the sacred Gayatri Mantra, invoking the divine blessings and wisdom. This was followed by the DAV Gaan, which filled the atmosphere with patriotism and unity.

Siddarth of Class X B accorded the formal welcome, while Suhashini of X A gave an insightful Speech, emphasizing the importance of Vigilance Awareness Day and its relevance in today's society.

As a part of the observance, students of Class VIII participated in an engaging “Talkathon”. The enthusiastic speakers deliberated on various types of vigilance – Preventive, Participative, Punitive, Surveillance and Detection, and showcased their understanding of the concept.

Class IX students performed a thought-provoking skit titled "Together We Stand" emphasizing the importance of collective action against corruption.

A creative gallery walk by students of Class X presented posters that emphasized the significance of constant vigilance in upholding integrity on the Theme, "Integrity is Strength".

Ms. Mithilaa Sundar led the students and teachers on the ‘Integrity Pledge’. The pledge instilled a sense of responsibility, accountability, and integrity in personal and professional life.

The program culminated with the National Anthem and Shanti Paat, filling the atmosphere with Patriotism and Serenity.
