The 77th Anniversary of Quit India Movement, an important milestone in the Freedom Struggle of India, was celebrated in the School on 9th August, 2019.

Students of Class VIII took the audience on a 'History Walk' through a plethora of events that marked the Quit India Day in 1942. A 'Gallery Walk' though a historical Museum about the lesser known freedom fighters including Jeyaprakash Narayan, Aruna Asaf Ali and many others shed light on the activities that accelerated the momentum of the Indian Freedom Struggle. The ambience of a Museum, the tour-guide and animated robots left the on-lookers spell bound.

The Kinaesthetically intelligent students set the stage on fire with a scintillating dance performance to a medley of popular patriotic songs. The spectators swelled with pride and love for the motherland as the Tricolour Flag took centre stage and flew high.

The day also marked the 20th Anniversary of Kargil War. The eloquent speakers delivered a Speech in honour of the brave martyrs which was followed by a soul stirring "Kargil Song" as a tribute to the relentless heroes of the Armed Forces who exhibit an indomitable spirit.

The Day witnessed an ocean of emotions towards the motherland, brimming in everybody's heart!
