FELICITATION CEREMONY

The D.A.V. Public School was brimming with ecstatic students, jubilant parents and teachers and overwhelmed Alumni on the bright morning of 12^th June, 2019 at the Grand Felicitation Ceremony hosted in honour of the School Toppers in the Std X & XII CBSE Board Examinations and Std VIII D.A.V. Common Examination held in March 2019.

Shri. T.S.Sridharan, Vice Chairman, School’s Local Managing Committee presided over the Felicitation Ceremony and honoured the students for their Scholastic Achievement.

141 Students of Std VIII, X and XII were honoured in the midst of an august gathering of the Local Managing Committee Members, Grandparents, Parents, Teachers and more than 1500 Students of Std VIII to XII.

26 School Toppers, 34 Centum Scorers of Std VIII, X and XII, 47 students who secured above 95% in Std X and XII and 61 students from Std XII who secured above 90% in the aggregate were felicitated at the hands of the Vice Chairman, the Founder Principal, other LMC Members, Academic-in-charges, Teachers and the Alumni.

The Founder Principal, Mrs. Minoo Aggarwal, expressed her delight at the phenomenal performance of the students and applauded the efforts of all the stake holders - School Management, Teachers, Students and Parents in the Success of the School.

The highlight of the astounding celebration was the resonating Dhol (hand drums) that played as a mark of honour to cheer the outstanding achievement of the students and the school.

The Students Toppers of Std X, Adithya Narayanan and Ashish Srivatsav and  
Abhishek Narayanan, Kasi Viswanath and Avantika Anand of Std XII expressed their  heartfelt gratitude to the school and shared their views on the strategies used to get an edge over the others and reach the pinnacle of success.

The exuberant celebration culminated with the champions of Std XII shaking a leg to the thumping ‘dhol’ beats and partaking in a light Refreshment.
