Vigilance  Awareness  Week was observed by D.A.V. Public School during the last week of October.

The Week long  Celebration endeavoured to create awareness among students about the rampant evil of corruption and the role of the public in eradicating the social evil.

The students of Std. VI – X participated  in a volley of events to  understand how corruption is undermining the health of the Indian Society and evading its progress.

Laxmishree of Std.VI delved into the multiple measures that need to be implemented in order to free our society to this persistent evil. She said, "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he/she does not become a monster.

A Hindi Skit, ‘Chai Paani’ educated the   audience about 'being vigilant’ and ‘upholding principles’ to prevent corruption. The actors depicted how the ‘enlightened citizen’ can curb the growth of the problem.

Students of Class X performed a talk show on Goods and Services Tax (GST). They imparted lessons on how preventive vigilance could help in reducing corruption and enhance accountability at various levels of governance.

All the students administered ‘The Integrity Pledge’ to eliminate corruption from our society.
